POSTUREdome — Privacy Policy

POSTUREdome Pty Ltd (“POSTUREdome,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the POSTUREdome website, online store, and related services (the “Platform”), how we use it, and the rights you have.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and — where they apply — the GDPR and applicable US state privacy laws.

1. What this Policy covers

This Policy applies to: customers who purchase POSTUREdome products; visitors to posturedome.com; email subscribers; and people who contact our support team.

This Policy does NOT apply to:

  • YADlife Pty Ltd — a separate company that operates the YADlife app. We use the YADlife app as a platform to help show customers how to use the POSTUREdome device and to promote full-body awareness through education. YADlife is not part of POSTUREdome and maintains its own privacy practices and subscriber database. Information you give POSTUREdome is held by POSTUREdome (see Section 10);
  • POSTUREdome employees, contractors, and job applicants; and
  • Third-party websites or services linked from the Platform.

2. Who is responsible

POSTUREdome Pty Ltd (ABN 89 677 802 587, ACN 677 802 587) is the data controller. Contact us at privacy@posturedome.com or by post at 225 Grote Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000, Australia.

3. Personal information we collect

  • Account and order details: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number.
  • Payment information: transaction details processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your full card number.
  • Browsing and usage data: pages visited, products viewed, time spent, device type, IP address, browser.
  • Communications: support enquiries, emails, chat, feedback, reviews.
  • Marketing preferences: opt-in/out status.
  • Referral data: how you arrived at the Platform (e.g., from a YADlife promotion or ad).

4. Consumer health data

POSTUREdome does not collect consumer health data. We sell a physical posture-support device; we do not collect, store, or process information about your health status, symptoms, or medical conditions. If you have health-related questions or use the YADlife app for body-awareness education, that information is handled by YADlife Pty Ltd under its own Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice, available at yadlife.com.

5. How we collect your information

  • Directly from you — orders, account creation, enquiries.
  • Automatically — cookies and similar technologies on the Platform (see our Cookie Policy).
  • From third parties — payment processors (transaction confirmations), analytics partners, advertising platforms.

6. Why we use your information

  • To process and fulfil your orders, manage returns and refunds;
  • To create and manage your account;
  • To respond to support requests and improve the Platform;
  • To send marketing and promotional updates (only with your consent or as permitted by law);
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud; and
  • To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

7. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as below:

  • Service providers (processors): Shopify (store hosting), payment processors, shipping/logistics, analytics, email marketing (Klaviyo), customer support — under contracts requiring them to protect your data;
  • Regulators, law enforcement, and authorities — where required by law;
  • Professional advisers; and
  • A buyer or successor — if POSTUREdome is sold or restructured, under confidentiality.

Advertising and US privacy laws. We use advertising and analytics tools (Meta, Google) that may receive online identifiers. Under some US state laws, this may be treated as a “sale” or “share.” Control this via “Your Privacy Choices” and our Cookie Policy.

8. Sending information overseas

Your information may be processed in Australia, the US, the EEA, and other countries where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure consistent protection, including contractual safeguards.

9. How we protect and keep your information

We use SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, and regular reviews. We keep your information only as long as needed or as required by law. If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, we notify you and the OAIC under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

10. POSTUREdome and YADlife are separate companies

POSTUREdome Pty Ltd is a separate company from YADlife Pty Ltd. We use the YADlife app as a platform to help show customers how to use the POSTUREdome device and to promote full-body awareness. The two companies keep separate systems and separate databases.

Personal information you provide to POSTUREdome is not shared with YADlife unless you expressly opt in (e.g., by choosing to create a separate YADlife account).

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access, correct, delete, restrict, object, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and complain. Email privacy@posturedome.com. We respond within the time required by applicable law.

Regulators: OAIC (Australia); ICO (UK); your local DPA (EEA); state Attorney General (US).

12. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing privacy@posturedome.com. We will process your request within 30 days and instruct our service providers accordingly. Some data may be retained for legal or tax purposes.

13. Children’s privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

14. Cookies

15. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or on-site notice.

16. Regional information

Australia

This Policy meets the APPs. Contact privacy@posturedome.com. Complain to the OAIC if not satisfied.

EEA & UK

If the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation. EU/UK representative: [to be appointed if needed].

United States
